Here is the lovely gal who fit into and took home my favorite 50's dress! This is such a beautiful piece, it makes me want to weep! And the sweet houndstooth coat so perfect for her.

My favorite customers came by the other day. Trying things on and fussing about. Mostly to use the phone, not caring it was not plugged in. My kind of ladies, making their own pretend world!

We are in puppy love!!

Bernie Did it again! This dress is just too sweet! All sorts of little puppies scattered all over, and a matching tie belt. This gorgeous gal is going to the races in her new dress. Her sandals are our favorite new 40s looking Spanish espadrilles, we have them in many yummy colours.

What year do think this is on East 9th?

Our street turned back time, for a Coen brothers movie. They quickly built faux store fronts for their film and filled the street with lovely old cars! Oh if it only looked this way all the time, how I would have loved to have seen the east village in the early 1960s! We saw many a bouffant hair do on the ladies, and the boys looking oh so tough. Loved it! Normally it is quite annoying when a film is shot on our street, but this one was fun! I will post a second post with just the cars next time!
