OMG How sweet is she??
Here is the cutest girl ever, wearing her new 1960's dress for her sister's wedding. This dress was made for her, and she is so cute she can even make fun green socks work with the dress!!!
Fab fun customers like this make me adore what I do!!!
Beautiful 1950's abstract patterned day dress
This very sweet and pretty lady looked so beautiful in her new 1950's dress! The pattern on this dress is like nothing I had ever seen before, abstract circles of greens and oranges. This dress reminds me of something Lee Krasner would have worn in the 50's. To bad my flash was on. I begged her to come back wearing this dress for a polaroid photo as well! My film should be coming today!!

Perfect in polka dots!
Sometimes I sell a dress that seems made for the gal, and this is so one of those times! How sweet is she? The dress circa 1950's and the daisy hat 1960's. She did not buy the hat but may be back for it; she is having a polka dot party! Again I should have used one of the old polaroid cameras and taken this in black and white! Just waiting for more film to come in the mail.

80's new wave
This photo does not do this beautiful 1980's dress justice! The sheen is so bright with the flash it is hard to see the details, like the amazing buttons on the collar, and those pockets are to cool!
This is a 1980's New Wave style dress.
Makes me want to listen to-
A little Talking Heads, or some Flock of Seagulls, or Men Without Hats, or a little Devo!!!
I hope this lovely gal comes back to the store someday wearing this little #, so I can get another photo.

For the love of old polaroids!
So I have to be honest, my lack of blogging is mostly due to my fixing up my old polaroids! I had been looking for a 3 volt battery everywhere to get these old 1960's polaroids working again, and finally found some from a company that still makes them! The black and white photos are my favorite, but I adore the color as well. You can see a color one of the store font in this photo, rich lovely colors. Still waiting for my new film to come from The Impossible Project for my old sx-70.
Will have lots more working polaroids for sale soon! Only have this one left because people come in and see me playing with them and find they can't live with out one either!!
Love Is in the spring air!
Okay so I have been a bit lazy with my blogging this week, but the weather has been so beautiful it is hard to stay inside! I forgot my camera as well this week, wish I had it when I sold a lovely 1950's dress to a sweet girl for her prom. She looked so beautiful, I love that she wanted to be different and wear vintage! My kind of girl. She has promised to send me a prom picture of her!
So here is a fun photo of my honey and I the other day, I have a 1970's # on, I heart the 70's. My husband calls this my candy striper dress!
He is so handsome and sweet, looking at this photo I miss him!
